The Member of Parliament for the Damongo constituency, Samuel Abu Jinapor, has donated 5 motorbikes and 10 bicycles to the Pensioners Association of the Damongo constituency.

The Secretary of the Damongo constituency New Patriotic Party, Kadri Abdul-Rahman, who made the presentation on behalf of the Damongo MP, said the donation was in fulfilment of the MP’s pledge to the pensioners some 3 weeks ago at the Damongo Community Center after Hon. Abu Jinapor had an engagement with them to solicit their views and advice during his first term as the Member of Parliament for the constituency.

Mr Rahman indicated that after listening to their concerns, the MP promised to give them the 5 motorbikes to assist their leadership in meeting some of their colleagues outside the Damongo township.

He said the bicycles were also provided for them to use for exercise, as per their request, adding that this is the first batch of items the MP has for them.
