Hearts supporters calls for Aboubakar Ouattara dismissal

Some supporters of Accra Hearts of Oak, are demanding for the immediate dismissal of head coach  Aboubakar Ouattara following their 1-0 defeat to Basake Holy Stars, in match day one of the 2024/2025 Ghana Premier League season.

The match, held on September 8th, 2024 at the Accra Sports Stadium, was a highly anticipated encounter between two of Ghana’s premier football clubs. However, the Hearts of Oak failed to impress, conceding an early goal to Basake Holy Stars and falling short of securing a crucial victory.

The defeat to Basake Holy Stars has left the Phobians 14th on the league log while sparking widespread anger among the team’s loyal supporters, who have express their frustration and disappointment. Many have called for the immediate sacking of coach Aboubakar Ouattara, blaming his tactics and team selection for the disappointing result.
