EC’s Disqualification of Bernard Mornah: Prof. Atuguba Officially Files Suit Restraining the EC

Reverred Lawyer Prof. Raymond Atuguba has filed a suit against the Electoral Commission over the disqualification of the flagbearer of the People’s National Convention (PNC), Mr. Bernard Mornah.

Amongst the reliefs  the Dean of University of Ghana Law Faculty  is seeking from the court is an order restraining the 1st Respondent (Electoral Commission) from printing ballot papers or carrying on with the December 7, 2024 Presidential elections until the 1st Applicant (Bernard Mornah) is declared as the duly nominated candidate of the 2nd Applicant (PNC).

Other reliefs include a declaration that the Electoral Commission failed to comply with due process requirement imposed on them by law.
