C/R: Ofaakor Circuit Court remands Nigerian woman for human trafficking

Reports indicate that the suspect has been on police wanted list in both Ghana and Nigeria but has been disappearing from the police due to the suspicion of a black magic she uses.

The Kasoa Ofaakor Circuit Court has remanded into police custody, a 38-year-old hermaphrodite by name ‘Pussy Mama’, for allegedly trafficking over 3,000 young girls and boys from Nigeria.

Pussy Mama, according to facts presented at the court, sends these young ones to West African countries, including Ghana and Mali to engage in commercial sex activities.

The court, presided over by his lordship Isaac Oheneba Kuffour, remanded Pussy Mama to reappear at the court on October 18, 2024.

Reports indicate that the suspect has been on police wanted list in both Ghana and Nigeria but has been disappearing from the police due to the suspicion of a black magic she uses.

After over 10 years of being on the police wanted list, it took a young CID officer of the Ghana Police Service to get hold of her after trafficking another set of young ladies aged between 13 and 17 to Ghana to trade sex.

According to police sources, Pussy Mama always disappear whenever her body touches a wall upon arrival of police to arrest her, until the young CID officer clamped her down at Buduburam, a suburb of Kasoa in the Central region.

After proceedings Wednesday, October 09, the Central Regional Chairman for the Nigerian Community in Ghana, Emmanuel Azubuike, disclosed that it took the police over a decade to arrest the woman due to the “juju” she uses.

He disclosed that Pussy Mama always disappeared whenever she was arrested.

Mr. Azubuike, who doubles as the Africa Coordinator for International Human Rights Observatory, commended the police officer who arrested the woman and urged the Chief Justice to ensure the law deals with her.
