Nigerians have expressed their readiness to switch to other telecom providers if MTN Nigeria shuts down its operations due to the current economic challenges.
Tribune Online reports that MTN Nigeria, the country’s largest telecom operator, has warned of a potential shutdown if tariffs are not increased to offset rising operational costs.

They warned that without this increase, the financial stability of the sector and service standards would continue to deteriorate.
In response to this on Tribune Online’s social media platforms, Nigerians made it clear they would migrate to other telecom services if MTN followed through with its warning to shut down.
