In a series of intense contests, Mfantsipim School, Osei Tutu Senior High School, and Presbyterian Boys’ Senior High School (PRESEC) have secured their places in the semifinals of the 2024 National Science and Maths Quiz (NSMQ).

The first contest of the day saw a thrilling showdown between Mfantsipim School and Prempeh College, ending in a tie with both schools at 53 points.

Osei Tutu SHS ultimately pulled ahead with 46 points, while Apam SHS finished with 39 and GSTS with 30 points, securing Osei Tutu’s place in the semifinals through skillful execution.

The third contest featured reigning champions PRESEC against Pope John’s SHS & Minor Seminary and St. James Seminary SHS.

PRESEC maintained a strong lead throughout, ending with a powerful 59 points. Pope John’s put up a commendable effort with 46 points, and St. James concluded with 31 points, solidifying PRESEC’s standing as a formidable contender moving into the semifinals.
