The Chairperson of the Electoral Commission has officially declared John Dramani Mahama, the candidate of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), as the winner of the 2024 presidential election.

Mahama secured 56.55% of the valid votes cast, defeating his closest contender, Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, who garnered 41.61%.
