The Council of Ewe Associations of North America (CEANA), has sent a congratulatory message to Ghana’s President – Elect, H.E. John Dramani Mahama following his unprecedented and resounding victory in the December 7 general elections.

In his official capacity as the council’s representative in Ghana, Togo and Benin, Torgbi Agbelorm Dzreke Agbotokor II, Chief of Salo-Sokutsime in Anlo-land who doubles as Nana Ofei Asamani I, the Nkosuohene of the Akwamu traditional area, extended heartfelt congratulations to John Mahama on his overwhelming victory in 13 of Ghana’s 16 regions, securing a lead of approximately 1.6 million votes.

Torgbi Agbelorm Dzreke Agbotokor II, who is also Chairman of the Reinbee Group of companies, on behalf of CEANA, expressed confidence in Mahama’s leadership, emphasizing his potential to usher in a new era of prosperity, stability, and peace for Ghana.

He also highlighted the Council’s plans to deepen ties with Mahama’s next administration to foster collaboration in areas such as education, culture, and humanitarian efforts.
