The Executive Chairman of KGL Group, Mr. Alex Dadey has reiterated his unflinching commitment towards the development of media and Journalists in Ghana.

According to him the media’s role in enhancing our democratic credentials can not be overemphasized hence he need to support the media.
Mr. Dadey made these comments at the unveiling of GJA/KGL Election Collation Centre at the Press Centre in Accra last Friday.
He explained that his willingness to partner the GJA in its Maiden collation centre attest to how the media is dear to the heart of the group.
He further revealed that the KGL group is the highest spender in the media space in Ghana, hence it was in their interest to ensure that the media blossom in the country.
Mr. Dadey touched the need for the media to be objective and ensure professionalism throughout the election and beyond adding that “so long as the media remain professional, KGL will support you”.
The Executive Chairman later commended the GJA for the yeoman job in defending the media and press freedom maintaining anything that deepens Press freedom and ensures the development of the media is the priority of KGL.
On his part, the GJA President, Mr. Albert Kwabena Dwumfour expressed his deepest appreciation to KGL and its executive Chairman “for always being there for the media”.
He emphasized that KGL is one of the companies very committed to the development of the media adding that the support the media have received from the group beats one’s imagination.
In this regard, Mr. Dwumfour assured Mr. Dadey of GJA’s readiness to strengthen the relationship between the two organizations.
He later urged the media to support the KGL group and help promote the good works the group is doing with the KGL Foundation, which is a subsidiary of the group.
