Akufo-Addo, Eastern Region Agenda against Ashanti Region Leaks
The real moves by Akufo-Addo and his relatives is to make them as well as the Eastern Region to remain relevant in the NPP.
The insipid desire of Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo to get a firmer hold of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) is making him and his blood relations to come up with both funny and grubby permutations.
The first move is to hijack the NPP from its popular base – the Ashanti Region, using Dr. Bryan Acheampong as the conveyor belt.

The plan is to tout Dr. Acheampong’s Ashanti link which is yet unknown to many people.

Nana Akufo-Addo’s he-who-must-be-obeyed cousin, Gabby Otchere Darko is in charge of the ‘Operation Hype Bryan’.
There will be a well-orchestrated moves for Dr. Acheampong to get closer to the corridors of the Manhyia Palace in the coming days, weeks, months and years.

There are also plans for Dr. Acheampong to have a grand opening of some hotel projects he has in the Ashanti Region all in the name of hyping his Ashanti Region roots.

What is making the whole agenda grimy is the fact that Dr. Acheampong is widely regarded as the godfather of the NPP politics in the Eastern Region as all crucial decisions were taken with his approval, something that had adverse effects on the NPP in that region.
Nana Akufo-Addo, his blood relatives and some powerful forces from the Eastern Region played the biggest role in making the NPP unpopular, leading to its disgraceful defeat in the December 7, 2024 elections.
