Addressing the press at a ‘Moment of Truth Series’ at the party headquarters in Accra on Tuesday, National Communications Officer for the party, Sammy Gyamfi argued that over fifty (50) members of the governing Akufo-Addo administration are directly related to President.

But reacting to the assertions made by the NDC at the press conference, in a Twitter post on Wednesday, Lydia Forson suggested that the NDC failed to point elevate the discussion by pointing out flaws in the President’s appointments.

“You could have made a better case against this nepotism, by showing us if any of these people were incompetent and lacked the expertise for these positions,” she wrote in a tweet sighted by ABC News.

The renowned actress also took a swipe at the language and diction used by the party in describing some of the persons they disclosed were part of the President’s close associates.

The National Communications Officer of the NDC is reported to have used the term ‘baby mama’ to describe Ghana’s Ambassador to the Czech Republic, a description Lydia Forson found inappropriate.

Expressing her displeasure at the biggest opposition party, Lydia Forson quizzed, “how many people sat around and thought writing “baby mama” was a good idea?”

Ms. Forson blamed the two major parties in the country, NPP and NDC for ‘toying’ with Ghanaians by justifying every action of theirs.

She urged Politicians to pursue actions that will benefit the state instead of their individual political parties.

“NPP/NDC condemn/justify actions based on how it benefits either of them. We the masses are the “ coons “ for joining in. How about we make it about what’s right/wrong for the country and NOT for our party” she tweeted.

Here is a list of the family, friends and cronies of president Akufo-Addo in government even though he promised not to operate a family and friends government.
