Mr. Tamakloe was picked up by national security operatives on Thursday evening, April 1, 2021. African Entertainment gathered that he was arrested at gunpoint and whisked away to the headquarters of the Criminal Investigation Department.
Managing Editor and Founder of WhatsUp News, Raph Adeniran, a Nigerian-Ghanaian, confirmed the arrest of Mr. Tamakloe to African Entertainment.
What’s the issue?
As earlier reported by African Entertainment, Mr Weah’s name has popped up in what has been described as a romance war in Ghana.
According to local Ghanaian media outlet, WhatsUp News, the Ghanaian woman, Angela List, who is at the centre of a romance battle between a Ghanaian Minister and an Australian-Ghanaian, is allegedly having a romantic affair with President Weah.
The Ghanaian Minister in question who has been named as John Peter Amewu, is said to have broken the 22-old marriage between the Ghanaian lady who is Mr. Weah’s mistress, and her Australian-Ghanaian husband.

Mr Amewu was Minister for Energy, Lands and Natural Resources from 2017 to 2021. In 2021, he was reassigned as Minister for Railways Development, a position he still holds.
According to reports, the said Minister in the President Nana Akufo-Addo’s government, has deployed personnel of the National Security to harass the Australian-Ghanaian.
The Australian man called Paul Edward List is said to be a mining tycoon who has naturalized as a Ghanaian. He is said to be the Executive Chairman of BCM Ghana Limited, a mining firm.
Reports say the Minister in question is using the national security operatives to prevent the Australian from protesting his (Minister’s) alleged sexual escapades with his wife right under his nose.
WhatsUp News claims to have voice recordings, paper trails and interviews about the romance war between the Australian-Ghanaian husband of Mr. Weah’s alleged mistress and the Ghanaian Minister.
Reports say the Minister spent time in the house and office of the woman, including spending his entire day at her house on Valentine’s Day, something which angered her husband.
Sources say the romance scandal has stirred interest within the American and Australian diplomatic circles.
Whatsup News Managing Editor, Raph Adeniran, told African Entertainment that more details on the romance scandal would be published.
