Nana Yaa Brefo one of the perceived brave female journalists in Ghana has sent forth a powerful message to the President Akufo-Addo, daring him not to forget about the whole incidents which occurred in Nigeria during the “END Of SARS” demonstration.
He urged president Nana Akufo-Addo Dankwah to take action and the action must be done now. He said the youth in Ejura are very angry and Nana Addo must not be quite over the issues.
“Mr. President Nana Addo Dankwah Akufo-Addo. Please and please it is better you act fast. Act as soon as possible for the situations at hand is getting out of hand. The Youth in Ejura are very Angry and not to mention about the death of their heroes. If the appropriate steps are not taken with the next few hours then don’t forgot what occurred in Nigeria. The youth in Nigeria got angry and embarked on a serious demonstration and they were killed into gutters” – Nana Yaa Brefo boldly stated.
When Efia Odo alleged that people are accusing her of having the blood of those killed on her hands, Nana Yaa referred to them as stupid and described it as nonsensical.
She opined that “When Nana Addo intiated the kumi preko demonstration in the late 90s against Rawlings, are we supposed to blame him for those who died?”
This point which was expressed by Nana Yaa Brefo to the president Nana Addo Dankwah has emphasized the need for the authorities to tackled the issues in order to prevent the incidents form escalating.
