University Students plan Demo over Hardships in Ghana
In a press release, CoCUS said the convergence point is the University of Ghana campus at Legon, and that all participants are to meet at 6 am on the day.
A coalition of University students – Coalition of Concerned University Students (CoCUS) – has confirmed to all students and the Ghanaian people their scheduled demonstration against hardships under the Akufo-Addo government will come off on the 3rd of February, 2022
In a press release, CoCUS said the convergence point is the University of Ghana campus at Legon, and that all participants are to meet at 6 am on the day.
It said the protest route starts from the Liberation Road, and leads to the Jubilee House and then later onward to Parliament House.
The students have dubbed the demonstration #students_Are_Suffering_Demo”.
“The Coalition of Concerned Students – CoCUS with a collective humble voice wish to inform all university students and concerned citizens on details of the protest dubbed #Students_Are_Suffering_Demo,” the statement said.
It added that “All Ghanaian students, parents and compatriots of the general public and all stakeholders are invited to join us fight.”
