I can’t be seen wrestling with pigs – Mahama replies to Ken Agyapong’s attacks
John Dramani Mahama said if he spends time responding to those attacks he will spend his time responding to them but he does not have that time
Former President of Ghana John Dramani Mahama has said that he has decided not to respond to Kennedy Agyapong’s attacks because he cannot be seen wrestling with a pig.
The former President of Ghana was in the United States of America to meet with some members of the opposition National Democratic Congress.
This is part of rebuilding the NDC into a solid front for the 2024 elections.
John Dramani Mahama was asked by one of the members why he seems not to give energy to attacks thrown at him by especially Kennedy Agyapong.
The NDC leader in the 2020 elections said “there are two proverbs in English and Twi. I will start with that of the English that says you don’t wrestle with a pig.
And then second one our elders say if you’re bathing and some person who is not correct comes and take your towel you don’t jump out and follow,” he said.
John Dramani Mahama said if he spends time responding to those attacks he will spend his time responding to them but he does not have that time.
Kennedy Agyapong has been an ardent critic of the former President of Ghana.
The lawmaker and businessman who claims to be friends with the former President has consistently used vile words at him on national television and radio; a worrying feature of the country’s politics.
In recent times, the attacks on John Dramani Mahama has been from Abronye.
