Madam Princess Owusu contends that the Electoral Commissioner for the area has been begging her to keep mute over attempts to insert a “ghost” contender in the race.

Madam Princess Owusu believes there is collusion to “spoil” her votes as the “ghost” contender; Dwomoh Sarpong Fausty has never shown up for any election-related activity. She says the officers of the Electoral Commission keep making excuses anytime she demands details of her status in the election or her filing documents.

“They rejected my initial photo in which I had a headgear covering one ear, but accepted one of this Dwomoh Sarpong Fausty that looked same as mine,” she said and added that “they assigned Dwomoh Sarpong Fausty the sex of a male in spite of her photo being that of a woman”. She also says the dressing of Dwomoh Sarpong Fausty in her photo was very similar to hers; something that she has difficulty accepting as sheer coincidence.

Madam Princess Owusu believes strongly that there is collusion to split her potential votes in favour of another contender. She told Bernard Buachi of rawgist.com she demanded Dwomoh Sarpong Fausty’s ID and other filing documents to convince herself of her legitimacy but the EC failed to produce anything and added that she will not relent until the EC does the right thing.
