‘Akoma Mu Nsem’ crew saved after timber truck fails brake at Asokwa

But for God’s timely intervention, bad news would have been told as two team members of Akoma FM’s Akoma Mu Nsem crew were involved in a motor accident Wednesday afternoon.

The incident happened while the victims – Evangelist Samuel Mensah and Nana Akua – were on their way home after the show June 29.

Though there were no casualties, the incident happened after a timber truck failed brake on the Asokwa interchange and descended through the Ahodwo Roundabout direction and drove through several cars including that of the Akoma Mu Nsem crew.

Seven cars were involved in the accident as several passengers sustained various degrees of injuries.

Nana Akua and Evangelist Samuel Mensah were rushed to the hospital but their car was mangled beyond repairs.

Information reaching 3news.com indicates that Evangelist Samuel Mensah and Nana Akua have been discharged from hospital and are doing.

Per medical advice, if they are fit to work, the duo will report to join the rest of the crew Friday afternoon.
