Effective Health Delivery: Commandant commends management and staff of 37 Military Hospital

Rear Admiral Moses Kwadjo Beick-Baffuor, the Commandant of Ghana Armed Forces Command and Staff College has commended the management and staff of 37 Military Hospital for working tirelessly in ensuring that the hospital maintained its place as the preferred point of call for the delivery of prompt, efficient and effective healthcare in a professional and disciplined environment.

The year 2019, according to him, marked a successful year of dedicated service to the Ghana Armed Forces and the general public in ensuring high standards of healthcare and training, stressing that, “on behalf of High Command and the numerous beneficiaries, I wish to state that we appreciate your handwork and commitment to serving humanity in your chosen fields of vocation.

I say vocation, because yours is a sacred calling which demands sacrifice and dedication on your part. Your sacrifice and sweat has brought smiles on the faces of your clients and their families. You have also made the dreams of others come through by providing them with healthy minds, bodies and souls to accomplish their ambitions in life.

Your efforts may seem to go unnoticed but let me assure you that many silent prayers of gratitude and intercessions are said daily on your behalf by the numerous grateful hearts you have touched.”

Speaking at the 2019 edition of 37 Military Hospital’s West African Soldiers Social Activities [WASSA]held the at premises  of the hospital in Accra, the Commandant of Ghana Armed Forces Command and Staff College said the designation of the hospital as one of the national emergency hospitals places enormous and additional task on management and medical practitioners.

On the national scale, Rear Admiral Moses Kwadjo Beick-Baffuor said, it was gratifying to note that unlike previous years, this year has been relatively calm due to the absence of the usual industrial strikes by public medical staff. He adds “we are also thankful that no major natural or man-made disaster was recorded over the period. Whatever the case may be, we can only continue to remain in a state of readiness in the event of any eventualities.”

Brigadier General Nii Adjah Obodai, the Commander of 37 Military Hospital in his delivery said WASSA offers the opportunity to management and staff of the hospital to come together as one family and celebrate its successes.

The WASSA event according to him is held annually in all military institutions in Ghana around the month of December aimed at refreshing soldiers and their families, colleague civilian workers and others who had worked with hospital in divers ways.

WASSA, the Commander of 37 Military Hospital opined, is also meant to recount the activities of the hospital within the year and recognize some individuals and groups contributions towards the achievement of hospital’s organizational mission.
