Do African tribes really hate poverty? – Dr Kofi Amoah quizzes
Let the countries of Africa, starting with Ghana and Nigeria, unite their tribes and ethnic groupings within their borders in preparation for cross border integration and cooperation, initially for increasing trade and investments among themselves but eventually for some type of beneficial political cooperation that can create a bigger megaphone on the world stage to discuss and push for Africa’s interests, presently ignored
Dr Kofi Amoah a.k.a Citizen Kofi, one of Ghana’s celebrated businessmen, activists, philanthropists and sports administrators has urged African countries to embrace unity and cooperation to create wealth for their peoples through trade and investments.
He said it is time for Africans to stand for one purpose and fight against poverty.
He emphasized the need for tribes of Ghana and Nigeria to unite within their countries and cooperate to build thriving and hate poverty more than they may despise each other.
“Would the tribes of Ghana and Nigeria unite within their countries and cooperate to build thriving, wealthy and happy countries because, I suspect that, they must hate poverty more than they may despise each other” He wrote on his X.
According to him, the Europeans decided to integrate and cooperate to become a single wealthy entity because they hated poverty more than they hated each other so Africans should embrace the same habit.
“Seventy years ago, the Europeans decided to integrate and cooperate to become a single wealthy entity because they hated poverty more than they hated each other ~ @DavidHundeyin. If integration and cooperation have been good for the Europeans, would it then not make sense to propose the following possibility for Africa’s emulation and adoption.”
“The people must jettison the politics of tribal divisions and embrace unity and cooperation as embraced by the Europeans, which have helped them to create wealth for their peoples through trade and investments” He added.
“Do African tribes really hate poverty more than they celebrate and take pride in their tribes pomps and pageantry, etc” Citizen Kofi stressed.

Some food-for-thought, thinking out loud
Seventy years ago, the Europeans decided to integrate and cooperate to become a single wealthy entity because they hated poverty more than they hated each other ~ @DavidHundeyin
If integration and cooperation have been good for the Europeans, would it then not make sense to propose the following possibility for Africa’s emulation and adoption:
Would the tribes of Ghana and Nigeria unite within their countries and cooperate to build thriving, wealthy and happy countries because, I suspect that, they must hate poverty more than they may despise each other …
But do they?
Do African tribes really hate poverty more than they celebrate and take pride in their tribes pomps and pageantry, etc
That’s the question that the politicians have the answer and seem to ride high on the divisions and hatred, manufactured or real, for their selfish interests
The people must jettison the politics of tribal divisions and embrace unity and cooperation as embraced by the Europeans, which have helped them to create wealth for their peoples through trade and investments
Let’s keep thinking and talking …
Thank You!
