A/R: No arrest as gunmen kill businessman at Achiase-Wansamre

A shooting incident that claimed the life of a 47-year-old resident of Achiase-Wansamre in the Ashanti Region has triggered police investigations.
The deceased who has been identified as Yaw Agyei sustained gunshot wounds in an attempt to foil a robbery operation in the neighbourhood on Sunday (October 2).

He was declared dead by medics who were with a team of investigators deployed to the crime scene.

Although the police have not confirmed any arrest, Mr. Agyei’s family wants the perpetrators brought to justice.

The deceased until his death was a retailer who was into the sale of building materials.
His body has been deposited at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital morgue for preservation and autopsy.
