The eight-minute video showed the maestro, as he is called, embroiled in a conversation with the technical team before he exchanged pleasantries with the individual players.

It comes ahead of Kotoko’s outstanding game against Legon Cities in the premier league.

They are currently second on the league log with 15 points after their 1-1 draw against Basake Holy Stars over the weekend.

The Porcupines are three points adrift from the leaders Bibiani Goldstars who hold 18 points from eight games.

Head Coach Prosper Ogum ahead of the game is “a bit” concerned about the players’ inability to make much of their chances.

Speaking to the club’s media ahead of the game, he indicated that he is not ignorant of the threat the Accra-based club poses as they seek to redeem themselves from the struggle they face this season.

“We need to go all out and make sure we get the maximum points because these are two teams entirely. They have a new team and we have a new team as well. It’s not as if both teams are keeping to their old players where we know ourselves. All that we need to do is work extra hard so that the few chances or the many chances that will come our way we convert. We need to go home with maximum points.”

He disclosed plans to however take advantage of their weaknesses to punish them in the game with the chances they create.
