Access Bank unveils brand identity, set to become largest retail bank in Africa

Access Bank Ghana has unveiled a new brand identity to signify its commitment and strategy of becoming the gateway to Africa and the world and as well enhance the ambition to become the largest retail bank in the country.

The new visual identity involves logo, unique brand colors and refined brand which was developed following the successful merger with parent company, Access Bank Plc and Diamond Bank in Nigeria.

At the launch of the brand in Accra, the Managing Director of the Bank, Olumide Olatunji, said the bank took steps earlier this year to embark on progressive agenda to form a stronger, bigger and better bank in Africa as gateway to the World.

He indicated that through the merger, the bank was able to make a significant success in creating about 29 million customers in several parts of Africa and the World with 27,000 staff in 12 countries across 3 continent.

“This really shows a defining moment for the future of our Bank as we inched closer to not only achieve our vision of becoming the world’s most respected African Bank but best and larger,” he added.

“Today, Access Bank has presence in 12 countries across three continents and one of the largest retail banks in Ghana with network of 51 branches,” he added.

Olumide Olatunji assured customers and stakeholders of excellent offers and opportunities that would open the chance to realize their dreams and provide local businesses access to trade in global markets, intra Africa trade. He encouraged entrepreneurs to build strong businesses in the country.

“Due to financially strengthened collaboration, our stakeholders will also now have access to more opportunities, benefits, products and servicing through offers.” he added.
