Achimota Forest Create Loot & Share Deal: Samuel Abu Jinapor is the “smoking gun” of the landgrab
Ghanaians are resolved to be Citizens and not Spectators, we will resist the the Achimota Forest Create Loot and Share Executive Instrument.
The Lands Minister, Samuel Abu Jinapor must be thinking that Ghanaians are fools.
Samuel Abu Jinapor claimed this morning on the Joy FM Super Morning Show that “the time-tested principle of Conflict of interest will prevent government officials and cronies acquiring the Achimota Forest Lands” and that Ghanaians must be vigilant as a backup.
Samuel Abu Jinapor however, adds that the Owoo family is however free to sell the Achimota Forest land to the Government officials and cronies “Conflict of Interest” notwithstanding…
RECALL:
Samuel Abu Jinapor about six (6) months ago on Metro TV Good Morning Ghana hosted by Randy Abbey in response to a question I, Prince-Derek Adjei, asked regarding when the Akufo-Addo government will release La Stool Lands;
The Lands Minister, Samuel Abu Jinapor in his response asked me to remember him and give him some of the Prime La Lands when the land is returned to the La Stool after realising that, I Prince-Derek Adjei was a La Royal and that my father, Nii Odotei Adjei is the Jaasetse and a member of the La Traditional Council…
With this mindset, exhibited by the Lands Minister, Samuel Abu Jinapor, on live national television, can we trust that there will be no “Conflict of Interest” in the release and takeover of the Achimota Forest Lands in a manner as is currently underway at the disputed Cantonments Civil Aviation Land…
Strangely, Samuel Abu Jinapor was also heavily relying on the District Assemblies to do the right thing once the land is released; the place the Ablekuma North Head Office building is located in an unapproved location; speaks volumes to why the Minister’s reasoning is bogus.
Ghanaians are not fools.
Ghanaians are resolved to be Citizens and not Spectators, we will resist the the Achimota Forest Create Loot and Share Executive Instrument.
The Ga or La People want our Lands released, but not through dubious means that allow for some people to legally Loot the Lands.
Government of Ghana must make immediately available ALL RELEVANT DOCUMENTS ON STATE ACQUIRED LANDS, THEIR COMPENSATION, LEASES, SUBLEASES for public scrutiny especially as the Minister himself acknowledged falsification of Land documents were happening at the Lands Commission and that LAND DOCUMENTS IN OFFICIAL CUSTODY CANNOT BE TRUSTED…
God Save Our Homeland Ghana.
