Adwoa Safo meets CSOs in Gender, Children and Social Protection

The Minister for Gender, Children and Social Protection, Sarah Adwoa Safo, on Thursday March 25, 2021 met with Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) in the country.

The meeting among others discussed possible ways the ministry can work together with CSOs in order to reach out to the vulnerable groups in a more effective way.

It was also to strengthen ties with CSOs in the development agenda of the country.

The Minister noted that her vision for the Ministry is tied with the broader vision of government, hence her willingness and readiness to partner with CSOs to achieve a holistic goal of “Leaving No One Behind”.

The CSOs among other things charged the Minister to reinforce coordination of stakeholders to ensure the effective delivery of Social Protection related issues to Ghanaians especially vulnerable groups.
