Agya Koo followed the NPP after he was prevented from entering Lordina Mahama’s house – Mr. Beautiful alleges

Ghanaian actor Clement Bonney, popularly known as Mr. Beautiful has disclosed the main reason why some actors and actresses who were following former president John Dramani Mahama defected to the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) the NDC lost the elections.

According to Mr. Beautiful, Mr. Mahama has in many ways helped these celebrities but they turned their backs on the former president because they were following their stomachs.

Mr. Beautiful who is a staunch NDC supporter disclosed that Agya Koo was part of the actors who were following Mr. Mahama.

“Many Actors and Actresses turned their backs on His excellency, John Dramani Mahama after he lost the elections because they were following their stomachs. I can mention a lot of them. Mr. Mahama did very well to them but the moment this government (NPP) came to power, they turned their back on Mr. Mahama. Agya Koo was part of them. There are plenty, Mr. Mahama helped them individually from his own pocket.” Mr. Beautiful told Blakk Rasta on 3FM.

He revealed that Agya Koo snubbed Mr. Mahama after he was allegedly denied entry to former First Lady, Lordina Mahama’s house sometime ago.

“Agya Koo had Mama Lordina’s personal contact and they were communicating, and there was a time Agya Koo said he was going to Lordina Mahama’s house and the security personnel did not allow him to go and so he defected to the NPP. I am telling you, you can call and ask him. I don’t trade my royalty.” He alleged.

The actor revealed that Mr. Mahama has more than 20 aged actors and musicians and he helps them every three months.

“As I am talking to you, we have more than 20 aged actors and musicians every three months. Former president Mahama sent me to go and look after them and give them the necessary support. We give others food and the sick ones are taken to the hospitals.” He said
