Akufo-Addo and Mahama Show Easter Spirit of Unity
The meeting reminded Ghanaians of the need to work together for the good of the country

Former President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo and President John Dramani Mahama met by chance during the Easter celebrations in Kwahu. The meeting happened on Sunday, April 20, 2025, in the beautiful hills of Kwahu, a place Akufo-Addo has visited every Easter for almost 20 years.
Akufo-Addo shared the meeting in a short Facebook post, calling it a moment that showed the true spirit of Easter—peace and unity. The meeting reminded Ghanaians of the need to work together for the good of the country.

Before this, President Mahama had spoken at the Kwahu Business Forum. There, he shared plans to set up a special fund to help young people and women start their own businesses. He also praised Julius Debrah for coming up with the idea of the forum, saying teamwork and new ideas are key to growing the economy.

At the same time, well-known businessman Seidu Agongo spoke about legacy. He said making a real difference in people’s lives is more important than owning many things. He mentioned leaders like Nkrumah, Rawlings, and Mills as examples of people who left strong legacies through service, kindness, and hard work.
