AKUFO-ADDO: There are reports of TROOPS movements into the Volta Region on 27th January, 2020, TRUE or FALSE? – An Owula Mangortey observation

I am a Citizen.

I rise to ask my respected Retired and Tired President Billy Akufo-Addo, the Commander-in-Chief of the Ghana Armed Forces whether it is TRUE or FALSE that there were TROOPS movement into the Volta Region on 27th January, 2020.

Billy my President, on 25th January, 2020, I drew the attention of Kan Dapaah, your Security Minister, to a report of an alleged importation of Biometric Verification Devices (BVDs) from Nigeria.

I added pictures of a truck with registration number GS-696-18 parked at the OSU CASTLE, a part of the Office of the President.

I hope your government will not announce that the truck is a refuse truck or it is a truck loaded with used clothing awaiting commissioning by President Akufo-Addo before distribution to Kayayei.

I have noted the swift denial by the Electoral Commission that it has not imported any BVDs from Nigeria.

That raises further questions of who allegedly
imported 7,000 pieces of new BVD machines and 2,800 pieces of old BVDs in the truck with registration number GS 696-18?

I have noted also the failed smear campaign against Owula Mangortey by Jean Adukwei Mensah, the MAD WOMAN, President Akufo-Addo appointed as an Electoral Commission Chairperson.

Whilst the Security Agencies are to investigate the matter, It is the EC’s responsibility to state clearly that it did or did not import any BVDs from Nigeria. Functus officio!!

Was there a need for the EC to engage in a vulgar abuse and casting of aspersions against Owula Mangortey, a Citizen who performed his patriotic civic responsibility?

I have noted Jean Mensah’s revelatory surveillance report of “Owula Mangortey purporting to come from Odumase-Dodowa.”

May be Jean Mensah is not a smart and intelligent person or may be she did not author the EC statement.

It is difficult to understand how the EC Chair suo moto can state that “Owula Owula Mangortey purporting to come from Odumase-Dodowa.

Jean Mensah has unwittingly revealed the “palmwine-talk surveillance report” put together by President Akufo-Addo’s lazy, amateurish, brain-dead, bread-hungry, self-confessed wee- smoking IO.

I have noted Jean Mensah’s statement that the “report on the BVDs” I asked Kan Dapaah to investigate is “a figment of (my) imagination.”

So, the EC Chair is telling the whole world that Owula Mangortey sat in the agbelima, gari and tapioca producing village of Odumase-Dodowa and imagined a truck with BVDs transit the HO residence of a well known Minister of State, as well as its locations at the Airport round about CEPS office, the Osu Castle and at the EC at 1 am?

Do you now realise why my friend Anas Aremeyaw Anas secretly records his activities? May be it is to avoid such a stupid statement that his work is a figment of his imagination.

I wondered whether Jean Adukwei Mensah had just suffered from another bout of routine domestic violence when she wrote that;

“The Electoral Commission wishes to caution the general public to be wary of such dangerous elements in society who will stop at nothing to peddle malicious falsehood to misform Ghanaians, tarnish its image and create fear and panic in the country.”

The rich also cry!

If indeed, it was Jean Adukwei Mensah who wrote the EC’s statement, then I can simply rejoind that Jean Mensah, the EC Chair, is a crazy woman and a potential nation wrecker.

And I hereby invite the Government, Opposition Political Parties, Civil Society Organizations, Development Partners, State Security Agencies to monitor closely the EC Chair. She carries the potential of becoming a threat to national stability, peace, progress, develipment and prosperity.

Mark my words!

Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, you are the Chairman of the National Security Council and Commander-in-Chief of the Ghana Armed Forces. I hope you are not believing your appointees’ dismissal of my articles as “a mere figment of the writer’s imagination”

History teaches that it was a disregard of very simple, common sensical intelligence by the arrogant, over-confident, pompous Progress Party Government Security Chiefs that cost the overthrow
of President Edward Akufo-Addo and Prime Minister Abrefa Busia on 13th January, 1972.

It was such an easy (shameful), bloodless coup d’etat by Colonel Ignatius Kutu Acheampong (as he then was).

Again, History teaches that Nana Akufo-Addo, then NPP Flagbearer, was dismissive of a very simple Intelligence report in January, 2008.

The simple report was that President Kufuor was going to arrest or detain or place his dismissed Security Minister under house arrest.

I, Owula Mangortey, am the person who briefed the NDC’s Prof John Atta Mills, and woke up Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo at 1.00 AM on 16th January, 2008 at his East Legon Ambassadorial Enclave residence, to brief him on the Kufuor government’s plan to detain the ex- Security Minister who had been dismissed on 12th January, 2008.

Wearing a black morning coat over a pyjamas, Nana Akufo-Addo sounded dismissive of what I had told him and said, ” okay, okay, I will see what I can do about it.” And off he went to bed

Was my intelligence brief to Prof Mills and Nana Akufo-Addo, the then NPP Flagbearer, a figment of my imagination?

History teaches that within a few hours of Nana Akufo-Addo being briefed,
heavily armed TROOPS besieged the residence of the Ex- Security Minister.

It took the bravery of this same “dangerous element” Owula Mangortey and Kwesi Pratt Jnr to defy the Troops, and to enter the residence of the Ex- Security Minister, in order to abort what may be would have been a shoot out and a blood bath.

History will be very kind to Alfred Commietey Ogbarmey, the former Managing Editor of the Gye Nyame Concord who was the laison in the link up between Owula Mangortey and Kwame Sefa Kayi to ĺbreak the news on Peace FM.

It is ironical that Nana Akufo-Addo would capriciously abuse his power when he became President to sack Alfred Commietey Ogbarmey from Ghana Gas for no stated reason.

What a way to thank Alfred Ogbarmey!

Since 2017, I have not been comfortable with the structure and operations of President Akufo-Addo’s HIGGLEDY-PIGGLEDY SECURITY ARCHITECTURE.

As a Citizen, Patriot, Nationalist, Lover of Democracy, I have expended energy, time and resources to watch activities in the Military, Security and Intelligence Community.

I have boldly and fearlessly brought to the attention of President Akufo-Addo and his Security Chiefs various reports I have picked from very credible S&As.

Learn lessons from the history of President Edward Akufo-Addo and his Prime Minister, Kofi Abrefa Busia.

Intelligence gathering is COMMON SENSE.
