Akufo-Addo’s led government has left Ghana’s 4th Republic poorer – Mahama
“The Nana Akufo Addo and Bawumia-led administration has crossed many red lines in our democratic practice. Their deliberate acts of putting political convenience ahead of democratic consolidation have left Ghana’s 4th Republic the poorer for it,” he wrote.
The flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), John Dramani Mahama has accused President Akufo-Addo and the New Patriotic Party (NPP) of failing to preserve democratic principles in Ghana’s 4th Republic.
According to Mr. Mahama, the NPP government under Akufo-Addo and Vice President Dr. Mahamadu Bawumia, has breached many democratic norms.
In a social media post, the John Mahama stated that the current government has prioritized their political gains ahead of the right democratic procedures.
He lamented that, all the problems the country is facing as a result of the deliberate actions of the NPP government.
“The Nana Akufo Addo and Bawumia-led administration has crossed many red lines in our democratic practice. Their deliberate acts of putting political convenience ahead of democratic consolidation have left Ghana’s 4th Republic the poorer for it,” he wrote.
