“For me and my family, there is a song that means a lot to us. The song is called ‘American Anthem’. There is one verse that stands out, and I can’t sing worth a damn so I am not going to try. What will our children say? Let me know in my heart. When my days are through. “America, America, I gave my best to you,” Joe Biden stated.

According to him, selecting Kamala was his best decision when he became a nominee for the Democrats.

“Selecting Kamala was the very first decision I made when I became our nominee and it’s the best decision I made in my whole career. Her story represents the best American story. And like many of our best presidents, she was a Vice president.” He added.

Joe Biden earlier explained that his decision to drop out of the presidential race was to avoid distraction.

“What happened was that first, a number of my Democratic colleagues in the House and Senate thought that I was going to hurt them in the races. And I was concerned that if I stayed in the race, that would be the topic.” He explained.
