Tolon constituency’s first term MP and Deputy Majority Whip of the 8th parliament of the fourth republic OF Ghana, Habib Iddrisu, has been spotted at Nsawam Adoagyiri constituency on a rescue mission for his boss – the Majority Chief Whip, Frank Annoh Dompreh. However, this meeting has angered more polling station executives who feel it is a further sign of disrespect by Annoh Dompreh, and that instead of him humbling himself and seeking wise counsel, he is rather seeking to justify his “insults” on them. The executives accuse the MP of failing to visit polling station executives suffering from kidney disease, not showing up for Muslim events and programmes, and not visiting them after the 2020 elections. As a result, the polling station executives from the zongo communities have resolved to end the three-term MP’s reign.

Annoh Dompreh is said to be bragging about a promise by Dr. Mahmud Bawumia of a ministerial position in Lands and Natural Resources, Roads, or Energy. However, the delegates have advised him to give up his 4th term ambitions and pursue his ministerial promise instead. The political situation in Nsawam Adoagyiri constituency continues to be closely monitored by political watchers.
