An open letter to Archbishop Palmer-Buckle, Catholic Diocese of Cape Coast.

My dear Holy Father, Archbishop Palmer-Buckle, I am Owula Mangortey, a whistleblower with a known face and address.

I wish to beg to write this open letter to you, as I am unable to trace the Adabraka Palmer-Buckle residence where I could deliver a sealed letter to your niece, the hairstylist, for onward delivery to you.

Holy Father, I was flummoxed when I watched on State television a report my respected Retired and Tired President Billy Akufo-Addo made to God and to you, the Holy Spiritual/Temporal Representative of God on Earth.

President Akufo-Addo was clearly livid that a Fafra boy from Bolgatanga had dared to call Akyem boys in his government, “Akyem Sakawa Boys.”

I am writing to you because I was very surprised by your silence when President Akufo-Addo was raving and ranting over what he perceived to be an insult to his Akyem tribesmen in his government.

Respectfully, I expected you to have politely assuaged the anger of my respected Retired and Tired President Billy Akufo-Addo by reminding him that when a dog eater calls out a dog eater, no one barks.

Since time immemorial Fafra boys and Akyem boys have had a common canine bond of friendship.

And I expected you to have gone ahead to say:

Let us pray.
Almighty and most merciful Father,
From whom all just works do proceed.
Give unto thy servant, Akufo-Addo, the peace which the world cannot give.
Light his path we beseech thee,
And defend him from the perils of this world,
Through Jesus Christ our Lord,
Who reigns with thee
In the Trinity of the Universe
Ever One God
World without end.

Finally, I expected you to have made my respected Retired and Tired President Billy Akufo-Addo to recite/sing the NUNC DIMITIS.

My respected Holy Father, this is how I expected you to have mediated in the fracas between a Bolgatanga dog eater and the Akyem Sakawa dog eaters so that no one could bark.

Who let the dogs out?
