Arise Ghana Demo: 3 Protesters Arrested By Police

The three were allegedly picked up for their involvement in the tension that has characterized the demonstration.

Already, reports reaching AfricaNewsArenaGh.com News portal had indicated that a tear gas was fired at the demonstrators.

As a result, the Kwame Nkrumah Interchange road has been closed, with no movement from either vehicles or persons.

Another protester arrested 

Meanwhile, the Police have called for reinforcements to deal with the situation.

It has, however, disclosed that the tension started when the protesters started pelting stones at their officers.

According to the Police, the “behaviour is unacceptable and must be condemned.”
