Presiding Missionary of the Seventh Day Theocratic World Congregation, Apostle Kadmiel E.H. Agbalenyoh has declared that female circumcision is a criminal practice and should be prosecuted. He emphasized that those who engage in the practice violate international human rights laws and should be arrested.
The Apostle made these remarks during a sermon on Sunday, January 19, 2025, at the church’s auditorium in Homedakrom (Shalom Shalom). His statement came in response to a question raised by a female member of the congregation during the question-and-answer session that followed his sermon.

The questioner, who wished to remain anonymous, inquired whether the practice of female circumcision was acceptable, noting that it is prevalent in her hometown in the north. She explained that those who migrate from the South are typically spared from the practice. The woman recalled an incident from years ago when a practitioner was brought from Burkina Faso to their community in Accra. Under the guise of a gathering, young females were taken to a village, where they were circumcised. The practitioner returned to her home, and the practice was never repeated in the area.

It was at this point that Apostle Agbalenyoh strongly condemned the practice, stating that it was not only wrong but criminal. He insisted that those involved in performing female circumcision should be arrested, as the practice violates international human rights laws.

Drawing from biblical teachings, the Apostle reiterated that circumcision is a practice meant for males, not females, and that it is wrong to subject girls to such procedures.
