Atwima Mponua: NPP Polling Station Executives want DCE sacked; set for a big Demonstration soon
The Concerned Polling Station Executives are saying that their DCE is destroying the Party, and that if President Akufo-Addo does not sack him, the Party will lose the Atwima Mponua seat.
Information reaching our desk indicates that some Concerned Polling Station Executives in the Atwima Mponua Constituency are planing a huge Demonstration against their DCE over his refusal to recognize the Constituency Executives as leaders of the Party.
Among many other issues, the over 400 aggrieved Party Delegates in the Atwima Mponua Constituency say the recent illegal use of the Party’s Letterhead by the DCE inviting the Polling Station Executives for a meeting without the knowledge of the Constituency Chairman or any of the other Constituency Executives is enough evidence to prove to President Akufo-Addo and the Party Leadership that their DCE, Hon. Isaac Kofi Marfo is bent on destroying the NPP in the Constituency.
They say the DCE threatened them during the Constituency Executives Elections that if they should vote for those Candidates, he would never accept them as Constituency Executives and would never work with them as Party leaders. He even described them as “kakapɛ” And true to his words, the DCE has never recognized the Constituency Executives as the leaders of the Party since they were voted into office on 1st May, 2022.
The Concerned Polling Station Executives are saying that their DCE is destroying the Party, and that if President Akufo-Addo does not sack him, the Party will lose the Atwima Mponua seat.
Attached is the letter that the DCE wrote and signed to invite the Party’s Delegates for a meeting with the MP without the knowledge of the Constituency Executives.
