Auntie Vic passes on

The death is reported on Thursday, 11th February, 2021 of Madam Victoria Atsufie Ahedor, a retired Senior Nurse and Midwife of Accra, after a short illness. She was 85 years.

She was the twin-sister of Victor Atsu Ahedor, onetime Deputy Secretary for Agriculture during the PNDC era and Deputy Minister of Agriculture in the first regime in the 4th Republic.

Popularly known as Auntie Vic, the late Victoria Ahedor was the proprietress of Vic’s Maternity Home at Accra New Town. She is the mother of Selassie Tay and Kwesi Amissah Share both resident in the UK.

The late Auntie Vic is also the elder sister of madam Charity Ahedor, co-proprietress of ETO Preparatory School, now Tantua International School.

Funeral arrangement will be announced later.
