Speaking to delegates during a 5-day tour of the Volta and Oti Regions, Asiedu Nketiah, who is contesting for the National Chairman of the NDC, gave an assurance that he will provide the NDC with decisive, courageous, and fearless leadership that can defeat the combined forces of the NPP, a biased electoral commission and vigilante groups aligned to the NPP.

“When dealing with the NPP, you must stay awake until the last ballot is counted, and you are declared winner” he noted.

Asiedu Nketiah assured the party’s executives that he will do more than before and will join them in their constituencies to build a formidable, attractive, and modern political organization “that will be the party of choice for the teeming masses of Ghanaians, the youth, women, the vulnerable in society and people from all walks of life and background”.

He noted that the Volta and Oti regions have become a target of the NPP’s intimidation tactics, but they will not succeed because he will work with the two regions to build a resilient party structure with practical strategies to deliver victory for John Dramani Mahama and the NDC.

The aspiring National Chairman has also promised, among others, to revive the NDC Heroes Fund, unite the rank and file of the party, resource the party at all organizational levels and improve security of members before, during and after elections 2024.

‘General Mosquito’ is visiting each constituency in the country to meet with the party’s delegates ahead of the National Delegates Congress taking place in December. The Johnson Asiedu Nketiah Campaign is expected to enter the Greater Accra Region this week to tour yet to be visited constituencies in the region.
