On Saturday, the 12th of December, 2020, boxer and comedian Ayittey Powers joined other celebrities and dignitaries to launch the KYE PROMOTING LIFE FOUNDATION established by scriptwriter and producer turned politician Christabel Adomako Kye.
When handed the microphone to deliver a speech, Mr. Ayittey Powers to the shock and surprise of all spoke the English language with ease.
In his speech, he expressed much gratitude to Christabel Adomako Kye for the good initiative. He further went on to say that, if a foundation as such had come to his aid while growing up on the streets, he is pretty sure he would have become a much better person in society than he is now.
He pledged absolute support to the foundation.
He explained that he is able to express himself so well now in the Queen’s language because of the opportunities attached to his career. He said, traveling around the world has really helped him to be able to express himself now and urged everyone to help the KYE PROMOTING LIFE FOUNDATION fulfill the objectives for which it was established.
