Barclays Bank Ghana has from now transitioned to Absa Bank Ghana, a subsidiary of the Absa Group Limited after meeting all the required regulatory endorsements from the Bank of Ghana.
The change in name is the start of a new period for the bank’s operations as a progressive bank with a global reach.

Our new brand demonstrates our commitment to building a bank that is centred on growth for our people through the provision of financial resources, services and opportunities that connect their dreams to possibilities,” said Mrs. Abena Osei-Poku, Managing Director of Absa Bank Ghana Limited.
Absa Ghana also joins Kenya, Zambia, Tanzania, Botswana, Mautitius and Seychelles to switch from Barclays to the Absa Group family.
