Bawku Law and Order: Chief Justice, do something before you die!

The Judiciary is the weak link in keeping law and order in Bawku, as the Court is closed and not working.

We have massive Intelligence-led Military and Police firepower in Bawku to arrest the irascible criminals hellbent on killing, maiming, robbing and causing fear and panic.

We have a prison to keep custody of convicted criminals to show locals’ and the state’s revulsion for the criminals’ penchant to kill, maim, rob and cause fear and panic.

The Judiciary is the weak link in keeping law and order in Bawku, as the Court is closed and not working.

The Security Operatives continue to whisper that they are prepared to provide security for the Judge, the Judicial Service Staff and the Bar to sit at the District Court which is located directly opposite the offices of the Bawku Municipal Assembly.

The Security Operatives whisper that they are prepared to escort the Judge, the Judicial Staff and the Bar out of Bawku at the end of each Court sitting.

How long shall the citizens of Bawku live with the oppressive sense of helplessness and hopelessness before the Chief Justice does his job in Bawku?

Chief Justice, do something in Bawku before you die!

I shall return.
