Bawumia’s electric buses enroute to Ghana, expected to cut down transportation cost by 40% – NEIP CEO

Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia’s initiative to introduce electronic buses to Ghana is set to revolutionise the transportation sector and significantly reduce commuting costs.

According to the Chief Executive Officer of the National Entrepreneurship and Innovation Programme (NEIP), Kofi Ofosu Nkansah, the new electronic buses, which are currently on their way to Ghana, are projected to cut down transportation expenses by as much as 40 per cent.

The introduction of these electric buses aligns with government’s broader vision of promoting sustainable transport solutions while addressing the challenges of traffic congestion and pollution.
