One of Ghana’s most influential rappers of all time, Kwame Nsiah Apau, who is better known as Okyeame Kwame and also nicknamed Rap Dacta, has opined that a man that has more than one wife should also be ready to understand a partner that will cheat with another man.

He said this in an interview with Tony Best on Akoma FM’s Entertainment 360 on Saturday, October 21.

When asked whether or not he believes in polygamy, the musician said that he will not mince words on his position on the subject.

“If you are a man whether an Akan or a Muslim and you have the inclination or the decision to marry more than a wife, and have two girlfriends, let whoever you are marrying get that understanding before you get married.

“If the woman agrees to allow you make such decisions, then you can go ahead to marry her because she has given you her word.

“But if these negotiations are not done and yet you have other women apart from her, then that’s a worry to the woman,” Okyeame Kwame said.

The musician believes that most men are not able to tell women their true intentions before marriage, because if they do, the women will not marry them.
