Budget Blues: Sack Finance Minister

The Ghanaian Finance Minister who is responsible for the economic mismanagement, hiking Inflation and free-fall of the Cedi is still at post and leading the Ghana Government Delegation negotiations with the IMF,  which he had promised will never happen.

The once Proud Akufo-Addo Government is waiting for the IMF to confirm bailout before it can present the National Budget to Parliament in November,  2022.

Government all along had no plan; the IMF confirmed that it was yet to ascertain the actual debt position of Ghana and that the Ghana Government had only yesterday handed a Bailout Plan document which it was about to review.

The UK government yesterday recalled its Finance Minister from talks with the IMF and sacked him for implementing unpopular government policies…

The Ghanaian Finance Minister who is responsible for the economic mismanagement, hiking Inflation and free-fall of the Cedi is still at post and leading the Ghana Government Delegation negotiations with the IMF,  which he had promised will never happen.

President Akufo-Addo has not been able to sack the Finance Minister just as he has kept all his incompetent appointees at post for fear of “Corruption Gas Leakage” that will lead to an implosion of his government.

Government is unable to pay Salaries, Feeding of Students with key sectors including Pensions expected to be affected by the anticipated IMF conditionalities.

Fuel price and transport fare hikes expected to further increase the hardships at a time most universities are on vacation,  uncertainty hanging around payment of newly recruited National Service Personnel among others…

Strike actions amid closure of shops by traders and threats of strikes by other unions will heighten tension in the country…

Government and the Bank of Ghana according to the IMF are implementing incoherent policies thus the current fiscal and monetary misalignment.

Ghanaians are resolved to be Citizens and not Spectators.

Ghanaians may soon take Civil action against the Governor and the Finance Ministry.

The fallout of the impending civil action by ordinary Ghanaians will engulf the incompetent Bawumia-led Economic Management Team.

Government must make a U-Turn to avoid a replica of the Sri Lankan or Haiti situation especially as the anger of Ghanaians over the government’s lack of seriousness in fighting Galamsey boils…

God Save Our Homeland Ghana and help us survive the WASTED YEARS YEARS YEARS AKUFO-ADDO-BAWUMIA GOVERNMENT and their DumbDogs who can’t speak truth to power because they are compromised or complicit or corrupt.
