Lawyers for the 6 accused persons respectively prayed the court to grant them bail after they all pleaded not guilty to charges of attempt to commit crime and abetment of crime, namely robbery.

But DSP Asare objected the application, citing that the accused persons are flight risk. The Accra Circuit Court 10 has denied a bail application.

Presiding judge Evelyn Asamoah denied the bail application and adjourned the case to June 2.
