C/R: Boy, 14, drowns in stagnant water at Fetteh Kakraba

Information gathered by Kasapa FM news indicates that a fourteen-year-old boy by name Michael Esiamah to drowned in a pool of water at Gomoa Fetteh Kakraba in the Gomoa East of the Central Region Friday morning.

Residents tell Kasapa FM News Yaw Boagyan that some students of the Awutu Breku D/A Junior High School numbering about fifteen came to swim on Thursday after they vacated from school, but unfortunately, one of them was found dead floating on the surface of the water Friday morning.

The friends who swam together with the deceased reportedly fled when they realized the latter was missing under the water.

The body has been sent to Awutu Breku Hospital.

The Awutu Breku Police have commenced an investigation into the incident.
