CAF Champions League: Hearts of Oak midfielder Emmanuel Nettey defiant about club’s chances against Wydad Casablanca

The Ghanaian giants heads into the reverse fixture with a goal advantage and will hope for a favourable scoreline to secure qualification to the group stages of the Champions League.

Hearts of Oak midfielder Emmanuel Nettey is optimistic about the side chances ahead of the return fixture against Wydad Athletic Club of Morocco in the CAF Champions League.

The Phobians inflicted a 1-0 win over the Moroccan giants last Sunday courtesy, Isaac Mensah strike in the first half of the game.

The winner of both legs will progress to the money zone whereas the loser drops to the CAF Confederations Cup.

In a post sighted by Footballghana.com, the enterprising midfielder anticipated a very tough test against WAC in Morocco but said his outfit can do the impossible.

“Thank you, Lord, for this important home victory. Unto the next in Morocco lads, difficult but not impossible because we are Hearts of Oak” he posted.

The Phobians are expected to departed Ghana for Morocco with a chattered flight on Thursday.
