Mr. Azubila criticized the EC for conducting re-collations without the participation of all political parties and for appointing known NPP affiliates to key positions within the Commission. He warned that if the current trend continues, Ghana risks eroding its democratic gains.

He commended Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia for conceding defeat in the presidential elections, describing it as a move that prevented potential chaos. However, he stressed the need for a complete overhaul of the EC leadership to restore public trust.

ADAM-GH also urged Parliament to consider constitutional amendments to reform the appointment process for electoral commissioners, ensuring neutrality and professionalism.

The group vowed to use all legitimate means to push for the resignation of Jean Mensa and her deputies if they fail to step down voluntarily.
