The Council of State recieved a Petition to look into the Cathedral in 2019 to better advice the President, but the Legal Committee of the Council of State headed by Sam Okudzeto refused to act on it…

The Petition to the Council of State among others things cited the pronouncements of Rev. Victor Kusi-Boateng and Dr. Paul Opoku-Mensah claimed on national television that then Chief Justice Sophia Akuffo had given the Cathedral Project Secretariat “JUDICIAL APPROVAL” to start construction of the Cathedral despite the injunction filed by Lawyer Bright Akwetey challenging the President donation of the Prime Osu Mantse Layout Land for a private project contrary to Article 20 of the Constitution.

At the same time, the older Okudzeto was failing in his duty as a Member of the Council of State, the younger Okudzeto was in overdrive pursuing his oversight duties as a member of Parliament.

Hon. Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa has persistently unearthed evidence of illegal payments made from the public purse towards the Cathedral Project.

The President’s persistence that the Cathedral Project Secretariat remains his “Priority of Priorities” despite the country being broke and requiring an IMF BAILOUT and imposition of haircuts on Ghanaians who have invested in otherwise safe government bonds.

Members of the Cathedral Board of Trustees are resigning, but the most important development is the letter from Archbishop Dag Heward-Mills which gives an insight into the maladministration of the Cathedral Project, Procurement Breaches, Culture if Silence and government Interference on the blindside of the Board of Trustees…

Ghanaians are resolved to be Citizens and not Spectators.

The Original Land Owners are demanding for the immediate return of the land on which the Cathedral foundation is…

STAY TUNED.
