Champions League: Madrid clashes with Inter at group stage level
The Los Blancos are set to take on the Italian giant in this evening Champions’ League group stage encounter at the Alfredo Di Stéfano Stadium in Madrid. Real Madrid, having won their last weekend’s Laliga encounter against SD Huesca, with a sounding 4-1 victory on Saturday, appears to have so much confidence coming into today’s game, especially with the return of one of its key players-Eden Hazard.
Inter Milan, on the other hand, was tightly held by Parma Calcio 1913 2-2 draw at home and would be hoping to come strongly in this evening encounter as they look forward to securing a good outcome.
In a pre-match conference with Madrid’s manager, Zinedine Zidane, says their game with Inter today is doing to be a difficult one. “It’s going to be a tough game against a good side and a very strong physical team which plays well. This is going to be another tough game, and we would want to take all three-point that is up for grasp,” Zidane added.
Real Madrid is currently lying at the bottom of the table with one point after losing to Shakhter Donestsk and picking a draw with Borussia Moenchengladbach. Inter Milan, on the other side, has picked two draws in both of their two games against Borussia Moenchengladbach and Shakhter Donestsk respectively.
