The Commander of the station, Supt. Samuel Ntosoh admitted that the two cases had been lodged by Nana Mensah against his royal brother Nana Gyasi.

The Supt. stated that their information had indicated that the mother of the case, originated from a piece of land which the two are litigating over, had even gone to the paramountcy at Sefwi Wiawso. As such, they (Police) advised that the two royals settled the case amicably at home, in order not to wash their dirty linens in public.

However, since thy have all taken entrenched positions in the land case, with each laying claim to it, the police had no alternative than to send the case to court, where it has been pending.
