The Chief of Staff Julius Derbrah is chairing a crucial meeting at the Private Office of the President to resolve the looming energy crisis created by the ex-while Akufo Addo government.

The meeting co-chaired by the President himself has all the energy stakeholders and Partners present including former Energy Minister John Jinapor is to find a lasting solutions to what appears to be an orchestration by the immediate past government to plunge this country into darkness.

The Akufo Addo government failed to purchase fuel and pay the Independent Power Producers (IPP) when they knew definitely that failure on their part to do purchase the fuel will result in dumsor (darkness).

We gather that Ghana currently has 5 hours of fuel to power the plants, meanwhile about 236 million dollars is needed to restore the desired power.
It is believed that the outcome of this crucial meeting would avert any possibility of the country being plunged into dumsor.
